Dear Contractor,Thank you for your interest in our company. Hammell Transport Service, Inc. is a privately owned business located in Eastern Oregon. Our core business is interstate refrigerated transport. We serve customers in the frozen food, produce, grocery, furniture and retail sales industries. We haul no Haz-Mat loads.

Incorporated in 1994, we have grown to our current size primarily through the addition
of Owner Operators. These contractors make up over 60 percent of our fleet. As a
company, we are dedicated to maintaining or increasing that ratio. We maintain a
modern fleet of 100 air ride refrigerated trailers. Both company and contractor
trucks pull HTSI trailers. You MAY pull your own trailer if it meets company specifications.We dispatch on a first in first out basis. Our open door policy ensures that any grievances are resolved promptly. Over the years, we have grown our fleet by word of mouth. Our current contractors recruit our future contractors. I would urge you to speak to any HTSI contractor and ask how he or she likes working here. There are always many questions when an individual is thinking of leasing onto a new company. In our " Frequently Asked Questions" section, we have tried to address some of those questions. Please review this material and call, Fax, or E-Mail if you have more questions.
